Douglas Fann

Douglas D. Fann, son of the late Marion Arthur and Lula Mitchell Fann, was born in Puxico, Missouri on February 24, 1926, and passed away at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on December 26, 2007, at the age of 81 years, 10 months and 2 days. Mr. Fann had lived in San Francisco, California, spent twenty-five years in Beaverton, Oregon and moved to Puxico, Missouri in 1988. He was retired from CSX Corporation and was a member of the Puxico United Methodist Church in Puxico, Missouri. On February 24, 1949, he was married to Virginia Crawford in Memphis, Tennessee. She preceded him in death on August 4, 1995. Surviving are one daughter, Deana Smith of Puxico, Missouri; one grandson, Shane Michael Lodi of Puxico, Missouri. Private graveside services will be held at a later date with Rev. Norman Ogles of Puxico officiating. Burial will be in the Puxico Cemetery in Puxico, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Puxico, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
