Dottie Tackett

Dottie Mae Tackett, the daughter of the late Alex and Della Sindle Mueller, was born in London, Arkansas on February 23, 1911, and passed away at the Close to Home Family Care Center in Matthews, Missouri on April 4, 2008, at the age of 97 years, 1 month and 12 days. Mrs. Tackett had lived in Morehouse, Missouri most of her life. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Surviving are three sons, David Tackett of Morehouse, Missouri, Dub Tackett of O'Fallon, Illinois; Bob Tackett of St. Ann, Missouri; 13 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren. Other relatives and many friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Louise Bradshaw, two sons, Gene Tackett and Cecil Tackett. Friends may call after 10:00 AM on Saturday April 5, 2008 at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter Missouri. Graveside funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2008, at 11:00 AM at the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri. Interment will follow in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
