Dorothy Mae Wilson of Bloomfield, daughter of the late Fred Luke and Vera Mae Stacey Jones, was born in Grayridge, Missouri on August 27, 1935, and passed away at the Winchester Nursing Home in Bernie, on February 9, 2020, at the age of 84 years, 5 months and 13 days.
Dorothy had lived in Leora most of her life and moved to Bloomfield two years ago. She was a member of the Leora Baptist Church, enjoyed reading, going on mission trips, traveling and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
On January 1, 1954, she was married to Loren Wilson in Essex, Missouri.
Surviving are her husband, Loren Wilson of Bloomfield; one son and wife, Keith & Vicky Wilson of Bloomfield; two daughters and husbands, Sherry & Gary Cole of Malden, Tracey & Philip Tippen of Bloomfield; seven grandchildren & spouses, Michael & Kara Wilson of Bloomfield, Casey & Randall Thomas of Forney, Texas, Aaron & Kerri Cole of Malden, Caleb Cole of Jackson, Katie, Lauren and Isabelle Tippen all of Bloomfield; eight great grandchildren, Kaydence and William Cole, Hayden Rocamontes, Tracilynne, Zayden and Zander Thomas, Libby and Annie Wilson; Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one sister, Anna Lois O'Neal, six brothers, Edwin, Robert, G.H., Ollie, Franklin D. and Junior Jones.
Friends may visit on Wednesday, February 12, 2019, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the
Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.
Services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with the Rev. Ronnie Stevens of Bloomfield officiating.
Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
