Dorothy Mooneyhan

Dorothy Helen Mooneyhan, daughter of the late Russell and Estelle McMinn, was born in Dell, Arkansas on October 7, 1936, and passed away at her home in Morehouse, Missouri on September 29, 2010, at the age of 73 years. Dorothy had lived in the Southeast Missouri area most of her life and was a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and fishing. On November 15, 1952, she was married to Benny Mooneyhan in Piggott, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on August 8, 1998. Surviving are one daughter, Judy Mooneyhan of Sikeston, Missouri; three sons, Benny Mooneyhan, Jr. and Robert Mooneyhan both of Oldsmar, Florida and James Mooneyhan of Sikeston, Missouri; eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Raymond McMinn of Texas and Russell McMinn of Jacksonville, Florida; three sisters, Brenda Rodery of Sikeston, Missouri, Louise Grissom of Blytheville, Arkansas, and Geraldine Blevins of Occee, Florida. Other cousins, nieces, and nephews survive. She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents. Visitation will be Monday, October 4, 2010, at 1:00 PM at Watkins & Sons Funeral Service in Morehouse, Missouri. Services will be held Monday, October 4, 2010, at 3:00 PM in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Morehouse, Missouri. Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery near Charleston, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Morehouse in charge of arrangements.
