Dorothy Catherine McCarty

Dorothy Catherine McCarty, the daughter of the late Charles O. and Henrietta Louise Ostoff Hale, was born in Fredericktown, Missouri on May 31, 1925, and passed away at the Missouri Southern Healthcare Facility in Dexter, Missouri on March 29, 2006, at the age of 80 years, 9 months and 26 days. She had lived in Dudley and Dexter, Missouri areas for many years. In 1950 she was married to Wallace Max McCarty. He preceded her in death in February of 1999. Surviving are one son, David McCarty of Dudley, Missouri; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren; three sisters, Gertrude Dillinger of Dexter, Missouri, Blanche Stein of Davison, Michigan, and Eula Hackathol of Granite City, Illinois. Other relatives and many friends also survive. No services are planned at this time with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
