Dorothy Coleman

Dorothy Irene Coleman of Dexter, Missouri born to the late Ben and Emmer (Lane) McCormick on July 23, 1926 passed away on September 04, 2021 in Advance, Missouri at the age of 95 years. Dorothy married Alfred Coleman on June 21, 1944 in Piggott, Arkansas. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, cooking and doing puzzles. Dorothy is survived by one son JW Coleman of Dexter, Missouri; two daughter Connie Smith of Dexter, Missouri and Janet Conner; four grandchildren Katie Coleman, Gage Coleman, Kyle Smith and Hillary Mercier; two great grandchildren Lucas Green and Logan Harmon. She is preceded in death by her parents Ben and Emmer McCormick; her husband Alfred Coleman; one son Keith Coleman; five sisters Ruby Coleman, Eva Frank, Wanda Williamson, Ruth Woods and Mildred Blecher; two brothers Ralph McCormick and Orvil McCormick. A host of family and friends also survive. Graveside Service will be Tuesday September 07, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chalk Bluff Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri.
