Doris Patricia (Pat) Hoffmann, daughter of John Sherman and Alta Mae Shoemaker Boles, was born in Pickett County, Tennessee on April 15, 1941, and passed away on December 31, 2014, at Cypress Point Skilled Nursing in Dexter, Missouri, at the age of 73 years, 8 months and 16 days.
She had lived in Dexter for over 40 years. She had worked as a homemaker and as a waitress and factory worker.
Surviving are one daughter, Lynn Robey of Dexter; ten grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; two sisters, Jerri Saad of Phoenix, Arizonia and Jimmi Saad of Cookeville, Tennessee; four brothers, John Boles of Hansville, Alabama, Hal Boles of Nashville, Tennessee, Ken Boles of Cookville, Tennessee, and Veon Boles of Nashville, Tennessee. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Doris Faye West and Talley Ene Savat; one son, John Jay Snyder; and four brothers, Moris Boles, Marse Boles, Claude Boles, Bryce Boles.
Memorial Services will be conducted on Monday, January 5, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with the Rev. Ken Robey of Mammoth Springs, Arkansas officiating.
Interment will be at a later date in the Essex Cemetery in Essex, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
