Donna Henderson

Donna Henderson, daughter of the late George David and Georgianna Mae Bafen Hott, was born in Mowequa, Illinois on August 27, 1949, and passed away at the Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Loius, Missouri on October 9, 2013, at the age of 64 years, 1 month and 12 days. She had lived in Miami, Florida and Decatur, Illinois before moving to Dexter in 1992. She had worked as a house keeper and attended the Church of Christ. On June 13, 1969, she was married to Forest Henderson, Jr in Decatur, Illinois. He preceded her in death on February 5, 1995. Surviving are her companion, Leon Rackley of Dexter; one son, Kenneth Henderson of Ironton, Missouri; three daughters, Doris Melvin and Janice Lewis both of Dexter, Missouri, Georgianna Hillman of Puxico, Missouri; many grandchildren; three sisters, Joyce Stanley of Decatur, Illinois, Janet Halsey of Fairbury, Illinois and Doris Strickland of Dexter. Other relatives and many friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Patricia Henderson, and one brother, George Hott. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 19, 2013, at the Watkins and Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri. Interment will be at a later date in the Dexter Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
