Donald Thompson

Donald Ray Thompson, son of Mary Brantley Thompson and the late Charles W. Thomson, was born in St. Louis, Missouri on December 19, 1951, and passed away at his home in Shook, Missouri on September 19, 2013, at the age of 61 years and 9 months. He had lived in St. Louis before moving to the Shook and Greenville area 27 years ago. He was a self employed HVC service business. He attended the Shiloh Baptist Church and loved to hunt and fish. On October 30, 1971, he was married to Diane Ellen Baker and two sons were born. Surviving are two sons, Gerald Lee and Jeremy Lee Thompson both of St. Peters, Missouri; one grandson, Tucker Nathaniel Lee Thompson of St. Peters, Missouri; his mother, Mary Thompson of Shook, Missouri; one sister, Dianna Lynn Douthit of Portage De Sioux, Missouri. Other family and friends also survive. Visitation will be held on Monday September 23, 2013 after 11:00 a.m. at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, Missouri. Funeral services will be held on Monday September 23 , 2013, at 12:00 p.m. at the Watkins and Sons Chapel in Puxico, Missouri with the Rev. LeeRoy Hefner of McGee, Missouri officiating. Interment will follow in the Shook Cemetery in Shook, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Puxico in charge of arrangements.
