Diane Coffer Diane Coffer, the daughter of the late William E. and Ona Asher Dial, was born in Holcomb, Missouri on May 24, 1951 and passed away at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, November 11, 2005, at the age of 54 years, 5 months and 17 days. She had lived in Charter Oak, Missouri where she graduated high school. She moved to Sikeston, Missouri in 1969. She was retired from Southwestern Bell after 35 years of service. On October 7, 1991 she was married to Herman Coffer in Sikeston, Missouri. Surviving are three sons: Joseph Shuffit of Jackson, Missouri, David Shuffit of Jackson, Missouri, Gary Coffer of Russellville, Arkansas. Three Daughters: Ashley Dean of Springfield, Missouri, Lynn Shuffit of Sikeston, Missouri and Sheri Seabaugh of Blodgett, Missouri. One brother: William E. Dial of Demopolis, Alabama. 4 grandchildren. She is also survived by many friends and family members Friends may call from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, November 13, 2005, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 14, 2005, at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with the Rev. Dolan Rogers of Sikeston, Missouri and Rev. Paul Burdine of Cape Girardeau, Missouri officiating. Interment will follow in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
