Dennis Riddle

Dennis Floyd Riddle, the son of the late Alvis Russell and Reva Lucille Bollinger Riddle, was born in Dudley, Missouri on March 14, 1946, and passed away at his home near Bernie, Missouri on August 7, 2008, at the age of 62 years, 4 months and 24 days. Mr. Riddle had lived and farmed in rural Bernie all his life. He attended the Bethany General Baptist Church near Campbell, Missouri. He had worked for 28 years at the Brown Shoe Co. in Bernie, Missouri and was the yard manager at Riddle Lumber Company in Dexter, Missouri. Surviving are one son, Dennis Floyd Riddle, Jr. of Parma, Missouri; one daughter, Cindy Green of Campbell, Missouri; two grandchildren; his fiance', Sharon Edgin of Bernie, Missouri; three brothers, R. J. Riddle and Terry Riddle both of Bloomfield, Missouri, and Darryl Riddle of Jackson, Missouri. Other relatives and friends also survive. Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Saturday, August 9, 2008, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri and from 2:00 to 3:00 PM on Sunday, August 10, 2008, at the Bethany General Baptist Church near Campbell, Missouri. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 10, 2008, at 3:00 PM at the Bethany General Baptist Church activity center near Campbell, Missouri with the Rev. Bryan Johnson of Campbell, Missouri officiating. Interment will be in the Bethany Cemetery near Campbell, Missouri with Watkins and Sons Funeral Home of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
