Debra Joyce Rose, the daughter of Brenda Boon, was born in St. Louis, Missouri on June 8, 1957, and passed away at the Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri on May 15, 2006, at the age of 48 years, 11 months and 7 days.
She was raised in Puxico, Missouri, moved to Poplar Bluff before moving to Dexter, Missouri, where she has lived for many years. She had worked as a dispatcher for B & J Trucking in Kennett, Missouri and had also prepared taxes.
She was married to Drew Rose in Hannibal, Missouri.
Surviving are her husband, Drew Rose of Edinboro, Pennsylvania; one son, John Andrew Rose of Wappapello, Missouri; her mother and step father, Brenda and Dr. Robert Boon of Dexter, Missouri; her grandmother, Marie Smith of Wappapello, Missouri, a special aunt, Bonnie McKnight of Wappapello, Missouri; a loving uncle, Terry Smith of Ozark, Missouri. Other relatives and many friends also survive.
Friends may call from 12:00 to 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 18, 2006, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 18, 2006, at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. Mike Watkins of Dexter, Missouri officiating.
Interment will be in the Dexter Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri at a later date with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
