Debbie Casey, daughter of the late Herschel Wilber Deal and Frances Louise Ashley Deal, was born in Sikeston, Missouri on September 3, 1952, and passed away at the Southeast Health Center of Stoddard County in Dexter, Missouri on September 16, 2013, at the age of 61 years and 13 days. She had lived in Dexter most of her life and had worked as a cake decorator at Wal-Mart. She was a member of the Lighthouse Christian Center in Dexter. She enjoyed crocheting, crafts, and loved to camp. On May 20, 2002, she was married to Brian Casey in Essex, Missouri. Surviving are her husband Brian Casey of Dexter; two sons, Tommy Riley and Jerry Riley both of Sikeston; three daughters, Trish Julian and Kathy Chapman both of Dexter, Brandy Finch of Modesto, California; ten grandchildren; one great grandchild and one on the way; one brother, Louis Hurt of Houston, Texas; two sisters, Patricia Scott of St. Louis, Missouri and Nancy Zickefoose of Des Moines, Iowa; her mother in law, Judy Casey of Dexter, and an aunt, Katherine Wethington of Sikeston. Other relatives and many friends also survive. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Lynn Hurt and Richard Gatlin. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2013 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at the Lighthouse Christian Center in Dexter, Missouri Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, September 19, 2013, at the Lighthouse Christian Center in Dexter, Missouri with Rev. Tim Russell of Dexter, Missouri officiating. Interment will be in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
