David Scott McClain

David Scott McClain, the son of the late Mel and Anetha Brant McClain, was born in St. Louis, Missouri on July 4, 1951, and passed away at the Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on December 5, 2006, at the age of 55 years, 5 months and 1 day. Mr. McClain had lived in Bloomfield most of his life. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Bloomfield, Missouri. On March 16, 1989, he was married to Lorretta Robbins near Bloomfield, Missouri. Surviving are his wife, Loretta McClain of Bloomfield, Missouri; one brother, Dave Acord of Dexter, Missouri; one sister, Alberta Acord of Casper, Wyoming; and one step-brother, Michael Williams of DeSoto, Missouri. Other relatives and friends also survive. Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, December 7, 2006, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 8, 2006, at 11:00 AM at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. Dwight Hensley of Bloomfield, Missouri officiating. Interment will be in the Walker Cemetery near Bloomfield, Missouri with Watkins and Sons Funeral Home of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
