David Lloyd Byrd

David Lloyd Byrd, the son of the late James Lloyd and Virginia Henley Byrd, was born in Grayridge, Missouri on March 14, 1951, and passed away at his home in Dexter, Missouri on November 27, 2006, at the age of 55 years, 8 months and 13 days. Mr. Byrd had lived in Bloomfield for many years and had moved to Dexter a short time ago. He had worked as a heavy equipment operator. Surviving are one brother, James Byrd of Sikeston, Missouri; three sisters, Imogene Gaines and Delois Hunley both of Sikeston, Missouri, and Sandra Gaines of Dexter, Missouri. Other relatives and friends also survive. Friends may call after 9:00 AM on Tuesday, November 28, 2006, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Graveside funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2006, at 10:00 AM at the Walker Cemetery near Bloomfield, Missouri with the Rev. Mike Foster of Dexter, Missouri officiating. Interment will be in the Walker Cemetery near Bloomfield, Missouri with Watkins and Sons Funeral Home of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
