**In Loving Memory of Danny Herbert McCoy**


Danny Herbert McCoy was born on January 2, 1963, in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late Robert and Glenda (Hamlyn) McCoy. He departed this life on January 10, 2025, surrounded by his loving family and friends.


Danny and Paula Ann Tilley were united in marriage on June 16, 1990, in Dexter, Missouri, and she continues to cherish his memory. Together, they built a life filled with love and joy.


A resident of the Dexter area for most of his life, Danny was a man of Christian faith  and served his country as a dedicated Lance Corporal in the United States Marine Corps. Following his military service, he took great pride in his work in the construction industry, becoming co-owner of Home Sweet Home Repair Service. His family lovingly referred to him as a jack of all trades, highlighting his incredible ability to tackle any task.


Danny had a passion for the outdoors, finding joy in activities such as hunting and fishing. He loved riding his Harley and cherished his time spent with family and friends, especially those special moments shared with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.


He is survived by his devoted wife Paula of Campbell, Missouri, his children Douglas Vietor of California, Shanna Velazquez of Blytheville, Arkansas, Angie (DJ) Horn of Campbell, Missouri, Jay (April) Bennett of Puxico, Missouri, and Desire Sebastian of Steele, Missouri. He also leaves behind four brothers: Gerald (Paula) McCoy Sr. of Jackson, Missouri, Charles (Loretta) McCoy Sr. of Chaffee, Missouri, Todd (Ellen) McCoy of Chaffee, Missouri, and Jeff (Rhonda) Hamlyn of High Ridge, Missouri. Additionally, he is survived by four sisters: Florence (Mindy) McCoy of Ontario, Oregon, Kathy (Albert) Locke of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Cindy of Randles, Missouri, and Kelly (Patrick) James of Fitzgerald, Georgia, along with 18 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.


Danny was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers: Glenn McCoy, Robert McCoy Jr., and Micheal McCoy.


Memorial arrangements will be announced at a later date.


Danny Herbert McCoy will be remembered for his warm heart, unwavering dedication to family, and the joyful memories he leaves behind.
