Daisy Williams Snider, daughter of the late Rufus and Maudie Mann Miller, was born February 11, 1924, in Holcomb, Missouri and passed away at the Golden Living Center in Bloomfield on November 2, 2011, at age of 87 years, 8 months and 22 days.
Mrs. Snider had lived in Southeast Missouri most of her life and had lived in Bloomfield for many years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bloomfield and a member of the Business and Professional Women's Club of Malden.
She was married to Loyd Snider in Bloomfield, Missouri.
Surviving are her husband, Loyd Snider of Bloomfield, Missouri; her daughter, Carol Denise Walton of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; step-daughter, Shirley Snider Furness of Newberg, Oregon; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren, one great great grandchild; one brother, Dale Miller of Malden, Missouri; three sisters, Marie Hilton of Malden, Missouri, Nola Sonner of Smithville, Tennessee and Marilyn McMillen of Texarkana, Texas. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one daughter and two brothers.
Friends may visit on Thursday, November 3, 2011, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Blooomfield, Missouri.
Funeral services will be on Friday, November 4, 2011, at 1:00 PM in the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home with the Rev. officiating.
Interment will be in the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home of Bloomfield in charge of arrangements.
