Curtis Wilbur Lowery Curtis Wilbur Lowery, son of the late Elisha and Mary Floyd Lowery, was born in Boynton, Arkansas on October 10, 1914, and passed away at his home in Dexer, Missouri on July 1, 2010, at the age of 95 years, 8 months and 21 days. He had lived in Phoenix, Arizona and Loredo, Texas before moving to Dexter, Missouri in 1997. He was a retired truck driver. He was married to Norma Jean Trotter Ezell in 1997. Surviving are his wife Norma Jean Ezell Lowery of Dexter, Missouri. Two sons, Vernon Dale Lowery of Marion, Iowa, Charles Lowery of Phoenix, Arizona; one daughter, Christine Bowser of Sun City West, Arizona; Nine grandchildren; Seventeen great grandchildren; Seven great great grandchildren; two brothers, Robert "E.J." Lowery of Phoenix, Arizona; James Lowery of Arnold, Missouri; and one sister, Thelma Crause of Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Other relatives and friends survive. He was preceded in death by one son: Gene Lowery, Two sisters: Robbie and Elenora. One brother: Basil. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 6, 2010, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Watkins & Sons Funeral Service in Dexter, Missouri. Services will be held Tuesday, July 6, 2010, at 11:00 AM in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. Kenneth Biggs of Dexter, Missouri officiating. Interment will be in the Dexter Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
