Albert "Curley" Clark of Dexter, son of late William Harvey and Ora Nixon Clark, was born in Jasper, Alabama on January 5, 1924, and passed away at the Hunter Acres Care Center, in Sikeston on February 24, 2020, at the age of 96 years, 1 months and 19 days. Albert was a retired brick mason, and was a veteran of the US Army. In 1948, he was married to Fern Hartline in Piggott, Arkansas. She preceded him in death on May 21, 1997 and then he married Eunice Sparks, on July 2004, in Malden. Surviving him is one daughter and husband, Judy & John Aubuchon of Hazelwood, Missouri; four grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Other relatives and friends survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Larry Clark, one sister, Elsie Paul and three stepsisters. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28, 2020, after 10:00 am at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter until time of services at 11:00 am with Chaplain Collin Reavey. Interment will follow at the Dexter Cemetery in Dexter with Watkins and Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of all arrangements. In lieu of flowers the family ask for donations to be made to the VFW or to the Veteran's Cemetery.
