Cora Mae Hagy-Magarian, daughter of the late John Wilson and Beatrice Scott Hagy, was born in Flora, Illinois on October 5,1962, and passed away at her home in Dexter, Missouri on November 15, 2011, at the age of 49 years, 1 months and 9 days.
Cora Mae had lived in Dexter, Missouri most of her life. She attended The Pentecostal Full Gospel Fellowship Church in Dudley, Missouri and had worked as a CNA at Crowley Ridge Nursing Home.
Surviving are one daughter, Jamie Vaughn of Dexter, Missouri; one son, James Douglas Magarian, Jr. of Dexter, Missouri; three brothers, James Hagy and John Hagy Jr. both of Dexter, Missouri and Earl Hagy of St. Louis, Missouri; seven sisters, Claudia Dowdy, Sandra Bayless, Carolyn Fielder, and Doris Price all of Dexter, Missouri, Nellie Runyon of Onley, Illinois, Juanita Willoby of Qupaw, Oklahoma, and Wanda Latham of Morley, Missouri; and one grandson, Tristen Alexander Seeley. Many other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Earnest "Jody" Hagy, Estell Hagy, and Vincent Hagy; one sister, Vida Scott; and one daughter, Roseanna Marie Conway.
Friends may visit on Friday, November 18, 2011, after 6:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Chapel in Dexter, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 18, 2011, at 7:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
Interment will be at a later date with a private family service.
