Charles Jr. Taylor of St. Louis, Missouri, the son of the late Jerry and Pearlie Mae Glee Taylor, was born on February 18, 1956, near Parma, Missouri, and passed away at the Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri on November 17, 2014, at the age of 68 years, 2 months and 30 days.
Mr. Taylor had lived in Southeast Missouri and Indiana before moving to St. Louis 15 years ago.
Surviving are six brothers, Johnnie Taylor of Indianpolis, Indiana, Troy Taylor of Memphis, Tennessee, Jerome Taylor of Poplar Bluff, Kevin Taylor of Parma, James Taylor and Ernest Taylor both of Malden; three sisters, Dorothy Dukes of Sikeston, Teresa Taylor of Cape Girardeau, Jeanette Blanchard of Parma; four step-brothers, Charlie, James, Ray and Larry Foote all of Indiana; four step-sisters, Anna Belle, Cynthia, Vaginger and Patricia Foote all of Indiana; two aunts, Bernice Taylor of Essex, Wanda Lee Williams of Akron, Ohio; and his uncle, Haywood Williamson of Marion, Indiana. Many nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. James Dukes of Sikeston, Missouri officiating.
Burial will be at a later date in the Macedonia Cemetery in Malden, Missouri.
