Charles Wayne Hamaker, Jr., son of Charles Wayne Hamaker, Sr. and Estelle Mae Mitchell Barks, was born in Dexter, Missouri on August 11, 1977, and passed away at his home in Dexter on September 30, 2013, at the age of 36 years, 1 month and 19 days.
He had lived in Dexter, Missouri most of his life, moving to Kentucky to attend college in 1995, and moved back to Dexter 2 ½ years ago. He had a Bachelor degree in accounting and a Master's degree in Computer Science. He had worked as the IT tech for the Lexington, Kentucky School District before he was disabled. He was a member of the Sigma Tau Gamma fraternity at Murray State and was a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do.
Surviving are his father, Charles Wayne Hamaker, Sr. of Dexter; his mother and step father, Estelle & Danny Barks of Dexter; one sister & spouse, Rhonda & Bruce Blankenship of Cape Girardeau; two brothers & spouse, Thomas Tucker of Arkansas, and Kevin & Nicole Tucker of Parma; nieces & nephews, Megan Sheeley, Camryn Tucker, Monty Dale Tucker, Mason Tucker, Isabella Tucker, Nuranda Tucker and fiance' Cody Harris, and great nephew, Camden Harris. Many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends also survive.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 1, 2013, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 1, 2013, at 3:00 p.m. at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. Danny Spence of Yellville, Arkansas officiating.
Interment will be in the Armstead Dowdy Cemetery near Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
