Cecil Wiseman

Cecil Wiseman of Dexter, son of late Lewis J. and Alta E. Shell Wiseman, was born in Paragould, Arkansas on July 18, 1926, and passed away at the Dexter Living Center in Dexter on June 29, 2019, at the age of 92 years 11 months and 12 days.

Cecil was married to Judy Kiehne in Dexter, Missouri and she passed away on February 10, 2012.

Cecil lived in Dexter area all his life, and was a charter member of Dexter Elks Lodge, he served in the US Army and was of the Baptist Faith. Cecil loved to garden and fish.

Surviving are one daughter, Peggy Shaver of Dexter; one son, Kenneth Wiseman of Dexter; he also had seven grandchildren; and several great grandchildren; and many great great granchildren. Other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by, one sister Lola Cook; one son Richard Gene Wiseman, and one grand daughter Jessica Wiseman.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday July 3, 2019 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.

Graveside Funeral services will be held on Wednesday July 3, 2019, at 1:00 pm at the Missouri State Veteran Cemetery with full Military Honors.

Interment will follow in the Missouri State Veteran Cemetery in Bloomfield with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
