Cecil H. Wilson, son of the late Henry and Dora Wilson, was born in Essex, Missouri on April 5, 1920, and passed away at the Kith Haven Nursing Home in Flint, Michigan on February 6, 2011, at the age of 90 years, 10 months and 1 day.
Mr. Wilson had lived in the Dexter and Essex most of his life until moving to Flint, Michigan several years ago. He was retired from the General Motors V-8 Engine plant in Michigan.
On August 11, 1940 he was married to Marcia Asbell in Essex, Missouri. She preceded him in death on October 17, 1990. He later married Norma Sells, she also preceded him in death.
Surviving are two sons and spouses, Cecil & Ginger Wilson, Stanley & Debbie Wilson; one daughter, Sheila Keller; eight grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. Many other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Linda Fleetwood, one grandson, Rodney; brother in law, Richard Keller; and four brothers.
Visitations may be made on Friday, February 18, 2011, after 12:30 PM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.
Graveside funeral services will be held on Friday, February 18, 2011, at 2:00 PM in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri.
Interment will be in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
