Carolyn S. Polley, daughter of the late Jake Henry and Mary Juanita Baker Surface, was born in Bell City, Missouri on October 16, 1949, and passed away at the Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on June 16, 2011, at the age of 61 years and 8 months.
Mrs. Polley had lived in Bell City, Missouri all of her life. She had been a custodian at the Bell City Schools and had attended the Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Danny O. Reynolds of Bell City, Missouri; three sons, Carl Casey of Morehouse, Missouri, Tommy Newell of Morley, Missouri, Sonny Polley of Bell City, Missouri; two daughters, Julie Whitehead and Tammy Bailey both of Bell City, Missouri; twelve grandchildren; five great grandchildren; three brothers, Junior Surface of Clines Island, Missouri, Hughes Surface of Matthews, Missouri; and Charles surface of Bell City, Missouri. Other relatives and many friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Lou Kelley.
Friends may call on Monday, June 20, 2011, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday June 21, 2011, at 11:00 AM in the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri.
Interment will be in the Gravel Hill Cemetery near Bloomfield, Missouri with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home of Bloomfield, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
