Carol Means
Carols Means, daughter of the late Robert Leslie and Madeline Lesteen Turner, was born in St. Louis, Missouri on November 24, 1940, and passed away at her home in Dexter, Missouri on October 1, 2011, at the age of 70 years, 10 months and 7 days.
She had lived in the Dexter area most of her life. She was of the Christian faith.
On October 5, 1978, she was married to Oscar Edward Means in Bernie, Missouri. He preceded her in death on July 23, 2001.
She is survived by six sons, John Phillips of Pennsylvania, Rick Magarian of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Jim Magarian of Montreal, Canada, Mike Magarian of Dexter, Missouri, Jeff Means of Glenn Allen, Missouri, Jason Means of Edmond, Oklahoma; three daughters, Deborah Smith and Jeanette Magarian both of Dexter, Missouri, Laurie Whisenhunt of Nicoma Park, Oklahoma; twenty-two grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; two brothers, Ross Turner of St. Louis, Missouri, Tim Turner of Salisaw, Oklahoma; and one sister, Ruth Gumm of Arkoma, Oklahoma. Other relatives and many friends also survive. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Russell, Mike, and Ronald Turner.
Friends may visit on Tuesday, October 4, 2011, at 12:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.
Graveside Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 4, 2011, at 1:00 PM at the Bloomfield Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with Doctor Michael Coleman of , Missouri officiating.
Interment will be in the Bloomfield Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
