Carl A. Fielder Carl A. Fielder, son of the late John Austin and Jennie Elizabeth Hawkins Fielder, was born in Peach Orchard, Missouri on June 3, 1938, and passed away at his home in Dexter, Missouri on December 20, 2010, at the age of 72 years, 6 months and 17 days. Mr. Fielder had lived in Clarkton, Missouri most of his life and spent some time in St. Louis, Missouri. He was a member of the Stanfield Baptist Church in Clarkton, Missouri. He was a heavy equipment operator at the Noranda Plant in New Madrid, Missouri. On January 15, 1973, he was married to Carolyn Hagy in Bloomfield, Missouri. Surviving are his wife, Carolyn Fielder of Dexter, Missouri; three sons, Wayne Fielder of Dexter, Missouri, Mike Fielder of Imperial, Missouri, George Fielder of Portageville, Missouri; one daughter, Terry Darby of Portageville, Missouri; thirteen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one brother, Lester Fielder of DeSoto, Missouri; one sister, Virgie White of Dexter, Missouri. Many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Henrietta Drews, one sister and five brothers. Friends may call after 11:00 AM on Thursday December 23, 2010, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, December 23, 2010, in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with the Rev. Jack Allen of Clarkton, Missouri officiating. Interment will follow in the Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton, Missouri. Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri is in charge of arrangements.
