Carl Wayne Downing

Carl Wayne Downing, the son of Odessa Ellis Downing and the late Carl W. Downing, was born in Kennett, Missouri on July 30, 1945, and passed away at the KFJ Manor in University City, Missouri on December 13, 2006, at the age of 61 years, 4 months and 13 days. Mr. Downing had lived in St. Louis, Missouri most of his life. He was of the Baptist Faith. He was a retired from the Marine Corps where he served in Vietnam. Surviving are his mother, Odessa Downing of Dexter, Missouri, and his Brother, Lester Gene Downing of Fults, Illinois. Other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by one sister Barbara Downing. Graveside Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 18, 2006, at 10:00 AM at the Missouri Veterens Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with Rev. Mike Watkins of Dexter, Missouri officiating. Interment will be in the Missouri Veterens Cemetery in Bloomfield with Watkins and Sons Funeral Home of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
