Brenda Pullum Duncan
Brenda Pullum Duncan, the daughter of Oscar Leo and Myrul Loyd Pullum, was born in Bernie, Missouri on December 8, 1952, and passed away at the Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains, Missouri on October 17, 2006, at the age of 53 years, 10 months and 9 days.
She had been a resident of West Plains for the last five years and was a former resident of Houston, MO. She was a Medical Receptionist for Ozarks Medical Center Urgent Care in West Plains. She was attending MSU at West Plains and very proud of her son Anthony who was putting her through college. She was a joyful person and loved being around people and lived life to it's fullest. She was of the Assembly of God Faith.
Surviving are two sons: Anthony Nolan and Billy Duncan both of West Plains, Missouri, one daughter: Wendy Duncan of West Plains, Missouri, her parents: Oscar Leo Pullum and Myrul Pullum of Essex, Missouri, four brothers: Richard Pullum of Essex, Missouri, Leon Pullum of Bloomfield, Missouri, Tony and James Pullum both of Dexter, MIssouri, one sister: Kathy Miller of Portageville, Missouri. Numerous neices, nephews and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack Leo Duncan.
Friends may call from 10:00 to 1:00 P.M. on Friday, October 20, 2006, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 20, 2006, at 1:00 P.M. at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with Rev. Russell Kane of Houston, MO and Rev. Mike Dillinger of Pomona, Missouri officiating.
Interment will follow in the Essex Cemetery in Essex, Missouri. Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Essex, Missouri in charge of all arrangements.
There will be a memorial service on Saturday, October 28, 2006 at 4:00 P.M. for friends and family at the Assembly of God Church in Pomona, MO.
