Bobbie Jackson

Bobbie Gene Jackson of Cape Girardeau, Missouri formerly of Bloomfield, Missouri was born to the late John Franklin and Mammie Evelyn Carrol Jackson on November 11, 1939 in Anniston, Missouri and passed away on June 21, 2021 in the Missouri Veteran's Home in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Bobbie had been a resident of California for years and moved to Stoddard County, Missouri where he was a resident of Bloomfield for 75 years before going to the Missouri Veteran's Home. He worked as a superintendent for Bellding Wallbridge Company, he was a lifetime Eagles, Elks, Masonic VFW member and amvets, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, and BBQ for his family and friends. Bobbie remarried Dolly Dimple Dunning on June 13, 2015 in Dexter, Missouri and she precedes him in death on July 3, 2015. Surviving him are his daughters Melissa Lewis of Spokane, Washington and Monica Williamson of Dudley, Missouri; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; two sisters Carrie Sue (Jackson) Esparza, Bethalto, Illinois, Doris L. (Jackson) Esparze, St. Louis, Missouri, many nieces and nephews also survive. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Dolly, four brothers Oliver, Cletus, Charlie, Billy Jackson; one sister Georgia Jackson Kokumboo; daughter Starla Kay Mairs, and three daughters in infancy Many nieces and nephews also survive. Visitation will be held on Monday June 28, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
