Billy Gaines Billy Gaines son of the late Raymond Wilburn and Vergie Rhema Lane Gaines, was born in Dexter, Missouri on July 17, 1946, and passed away at Missouri Southern Health Care in Dexter, Missouri on June 15, 2010, at the age of 63 years, 10 months and 28 days. He had lived his whole life in Dexter, Missouri. Mr. Gaines had worked for many years at Coffee and Camp Lumber Company in the Ice House. He was of the Baptist Faith. Surviving are three sisters: Bettey Moore of Dexter, Missouri, Peggy Evans of Dexter, Missouri and Bonnie Brewer of Essex, Missouri. Two Brothers: Rick Gaines and Leon Gaines both of Dexter, Missouri. A special niece Charlene Frymire of Bloomfield, Missouri. Several Nieces and Nephews. Other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by one brother Raymond Gaines and one sister Wanda McRoy. Visitation will be Thursday, June 17, 2010, starting at 5:00 PM till 8:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter. Services will be held Friday, June 18, 2010, at 10:00 AM in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with the Rev. Danny Collins of Brosley, Missouri officiating. Interment will be in the Armstead Dowdy Cemetery near Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
