Billie June Hunsaker

Billie June Hunsaker of Dexter, Missouri, daughter of the late Lewis Lee and Daisy Ann (Baker) Edwards born on September 25, 1934 in Goodland, Indiana and passed away February 17, 2022 in Bernie, Missouri at the age of 87 years. She lived in Dexter, Missouri for most of her life. She lived in Essex, Missouri in her younger years. She was a member of Assembly of First Church of God in Dexter, Missouri. She loved to sew, cook, read and write stories. she loved her children and grandchildren with her whole heart. Billie June married Larry Gene Hunsaker on February 28, 1952 until his passing on January 30, 2020. Billie is survived by five sons Bobby Gene Hunsaker of Flint, Michigan, Danny Steven Hunsaker of West Plains, Missouri, Rickey Lee Hunsaker of Wappapello, Missouri, Jeffery (Pamela) Hunsaker of Heber Springs, Arkansas and Mark (Michele) Hunsaker of Perryville, Missouri; three daughters Charlotte Ann Hunsaker of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Brenda (Sunny) Alcoser of San Antonio, Texas and Lorie Jean Hunsaker of Jacksonville, Florida; twenty-nine grand children Tina, Christopher, Bobby, Kyle, Jason, Roxanne, Brad, Alex, Jennifer, Clara, Mary, Emily, Heath, Matthew, Megan, Amanda, Kristen, Rhe’a Connie Nic, Dalton Scott, April Diane, Brandon, Sam, Timothy, Sarah, Isaiah, Johnny, Natalie, Audrey and Jacob; thirty great grandchildren Tristian, Matthew, Kaytlyn, Rylee, Bradley, John, Dexter, Simon, Oliver, Lane, Sebastian, Symphony, Vicktoria, Verrick, Misha, Brantley, Eli, Mya, Blaize, Paxton, Xavier, Trystan, Maliah, Laylen, Jazzlyn, Holt, Emersyn,Millie, Alisha and Isabella; two great great grandchildren Saylor and Bradlee; one brother Charles Lee (Ann) Edwards of Bloomfield, Missouri . She is preceded in death by her parents Lewis and Daisy Edwards; her husband Larry Gene Hunsaker; one daughter Connie Darlene; one son Terry Wayne; three sisters Hazel, Pansy and Ruth; one brother Robert Edwards; and three grandchildren Daniel, Theresa and Hannah. A host of family and friends also survive. Visitation will be held on Tuesday February 22, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday February 23, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri with Brother Leonard officiating along with DeArvin assisting and Watkins and Sons Funeral Home of Dexter in charge of all arrangements.
