Bill Gromer, son of the late Howard Eugene Singleton and Lillie Myrtle Richie Gromer, was born in rural Stoddard County, Missouri on August 23, 1948, and passed away near Dexter, Missouri on January 19, 2011, at the age of 62 years, 4 months and 27 days.
He had lived in Dexter the past six months and had lived in Reynolds County most of his life. He was a repairman for coin operated machines, was of the Pentecost faith and enjoyed coon hunting.
Surviving are one son, Jeremy Gromer of Ellington, Missouri; one daughter, Angela Dzvonar of Dexter, Missouri; three grandchildren, three great grandchildren; three sisters, Cathy Nugent and Lisa Delrie of Louisiana; and Betty Lewis of Campbell, Missouri. Other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by one son, Anthony Gromer, one daughter, Billie Jo Gromer and one brother, Randall Gromer.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 22, 2011, after 10:00 AM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.
Services will be held Saturday, January 22, 2011, at 1:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with the Rev. Michael Burk of Bernie, Missouri officiating.
Interment will be in the Essex Cemetery in Essex, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
