Beverly Lewis

Beverly Jane Lewis of St. Louis, Missouri, daughter of the late Samuel and Rose Black Stewart, was born in Coal City, Illinois on December 16, 1934, and passed away at her home in St. Louis, Missouri on February 24, 2015, at the age of 80 years, 2 months and 8 days. Beverly had worked at Mid-West Forest Products in cabinet making. She was a member of the Victory Chapel in St. Louis, Missouri. On April 23, 1954, she married Jesse Lewis in St. Louis, Missouri. He preceded her in death on February 20, 1999. Surviving are three sons, James Lewis of Fredericktown, Missouri, Jerry Lewis and David Lewis both of St. Louis, Missouri; one daughter, Shirley Lewis Copeland of Fredericktown, Missouri; and seven grandchildren. Many other relatives and friends also survive. Friends may call on Saturday, February 28, 2015, from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with Bro. Mikel Burton of Poplar Bluff officiating. Burial will be in the Gravel Hill Cemetery near Bloomfield, Missouri and Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
