Bette Scism

Bette S. Scism, daughter of the late Gus and Flodia Wilkerson Keller, was born on January 20, 1925, in Bell City, Missouri and passed away at the Galloway Nursing Home in Gallaoway, Tennessee on January 20, 2012, at the age of 87 years. Mrs. Scism had lived in Stoddard County most of her life and had lived in Memphis, Tennessee the past four years. On January 29, 1952 she was married to Byron Scism. He preceded her in death on October 22, 2006. Surviving are three sons, Tom Scism of Germantown, Tennessee, Bill Schween of Memphis, Tennessee, Eric Schween of New Glans, Wisconsin; six grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. Other relatives and many friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one brother, Warren Keller. Graveside funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 23, 2012, at 1:00 PM at the Bloomfield Cemetery in Bloomfield Missouri with the Rev. Gilbert Mitchell officiating. Internment will be at the Bloomfield Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri in charge of all arrangements.
