Bessie Case, the daughter of the late William and Emma Elizabeth Arnold Whittley, was born in Bell City, Missouri on February 14, 1915, and passed away at Southern Missouri Healthcare in Dexter, Missouri on September 30, 2009, at the age of 94 years, 7 months and 16 days.
Mrs. Case had lived most of her life in Essex, Missouri. She was a member of the Pentecostal Church in Circle City, Missouri.
On October 26, 1931, she was married to Arnold Alvin Case in Bloomfield, Missouri. He preceded her in death on October 24, 1981.
Surviving are three sons, Robert "Bud" Case and Ronnie Case both of Walnut Hill, Illinois, Larry Case of Dexter, Missouri; one daughter, Brenda Watson of Circle City, Missouri; twenty-five grandchildren; many great and great great grandchildren. Many other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by three sons, James, LeRoy, and Lawrence Case and two daughters, Joan Lambert and Vernadean Barnes.
Friends may call on Friday, October 2, 2009, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2009, at 2:00 PM in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri.
Interment will be in the Bloomfield Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
