Barry Barnes

Barry James Barnes, the son of James H. "Jim" Barnes and the late Mary Ellen Williams Barnes, was born in Dexter, Missouri on February 1, 1963, and passed away at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter, Missouri on August 31, 2007, at the age of 44 years, 6 months and 30 days. Mr. Barnes had lived in the Dudley area all of his life. He had worked as a farm hand until his health forced his retirement. Surviving are one son, Justin William Barnes of Dudley, Missouri; one daughter, April Jones of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; his father, James H. "Jim" Barnes of Dudley, Missouri; four grandchildren; one brother, Garry W. Barnes of Dexter, Missouri; and one sister, Dana Fay Wilson of Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Other relatives and friends also survive. Friends may call on Monday September 3, 2007, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday September 4, 2007, at 11:00 AM at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. Ray Placher of Puxico, Missouri officiating. Interment will follow in the Bloomfield Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
