Barbara Wilmoth

Barbara Wilmoth, daughter of the late Clarence and Imogene Hooks Rieffer, was born in Essex, Missouri on September 5, 1942, and passed away at her home in Bloomfield on February 14, 2014, at the age of 71 years. She had grown up in the Essex area before moving to Ponitac, Michigan in 1962. She had worked for General Motors until she retired in 1994, she then moved to Bloomfield, Missouri. Surviving are one son, Vance Wilmoth, of Lake Orion Michigan; one brother, Henry Rieffer of Bloomfield, Missouri; and one grandson, Vance Wilmoth, Jr. of Lake Orion, Michigan. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister Judy George. Visitations will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2014, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with the Rev. Mike Williams, of Dexter, Missouri officiating. Interment will be in the Essex Cemetery in Essex, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
