Barbara Jean Ramey

Barbara Ramey of Dexter, daughter of the late Pete and Catherine Reeves Kiger, was born in Brosley, Missouri on April 8, 1950, and passed away at the Evelyn House in Creve Core, Missouri on May 17, 2020, at the age of 70 years. Barbara married Jesse Ramey on January 5, 1975 in Malden, Missouri She enjoyed being a home maker and babysitter for many years. She enjoyed collecting porcelain dolls. She lived most of her life in Dexter. Barbara was a member of the Apostolic Pentecost Church. Surviving are her husband Jesse Ramey of the home in Dexter and her brother, Robert Kiger of Dexter, Missouri. Other relatives and friends survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Silvia Clemens and Shirley Green, two brothers, Jerry Don Kiger, George Allen Kiger. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2020, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, May 21, 2020, at 1:00 pm with Bro. Dale Holman of Dexter, Missouri and Bro. Don Carlton of Metropolis Illinois, officiating at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
