Barbara Cartwright

Barbara Deanna Cartwright, daughter of the late Henry and Eunice Snider Wolpers, was born in Dexter, Missouri on April 14, 1941, and passed away at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on July 12, 2010, at the age of 69 years. She had lived in Dexter, Missouri most of her life. She was a member of the New Bethel General Baptist Church , Missouri. She had worked at the Hat Factory in Dexter for many years. In 1964 she was married to David Cartwright. Surviving are her husband, David Cartwright of Dexter, Missouri; two daughters, Dana Cartwright of Dexter, Missouri, Dena Cartwight-Silliman of Slidell, Louisiana; one son, Damon Cartwright of Dexter, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Jessica, Kelsey & Elisha Flanigan, Justus & Dakota Silliman, Zachary & Gavin Cartwright; one great grandchild, Keeleigh Flanigan; two brothers, Terry Michael Wolpers & Paul David Wolpers both of Dexter, Missouri. Other relatives and friends survive. Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, July 14, 2010, at 1:00 PM in the Duncan Cemetery in Dexter with the Rev. Phil Warren of Dexter, Missouri officiating. Interment will be in the Duncan Cemetery (located in the Dexter Cemetery) in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
