Barbara Bonds

Barbara Knight Bonds, the daughter of the Leonard Williams and the late Lillie Allen Williams, was born in Parma, Missouri on August 14, 1944, and passed away at her home in Parma, Missouri on November 12, 2007, at the age of 63 years, 2 months and 29 days. She had lived in the Parma, Missouri area the past 38 years. She had been a business owner and had worked as bookkeeper with Ron Owens Construction. She had been active in the Area Pool Leagues and was of the Baptist faith. She was first married to Larry Knight and he preceded her in death. On April 16, 1991, she was married to William "Buck" Bonds in Gideon, Missouri. He preceded her in death on December 12, 1998. Surviving are one daughter, Sonja Brannon of Parma, Missouri; one son, Gregg Knight of Dexter, Missouri; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two brothers, Bobby Ray Hutchison of Warrenton, Missouri, Marvin Williams of Tallahassee, Florida; and one sister, Patsey Dailey of Batesville, Arkansas. Other relatives and many friends also survive. In addition to her parents, and both husbands she was preceded by one sister, Virgie Everett. Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, November 14, 2007, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Parma, Missouri. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, November 15, 2007, at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Parma, Missouri with the Rev. Bobby Dailey of Batesville, Arkansas officiating. Interment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Parma, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
