Audra L. Hobbs, the daughter of the late David Reasons and Florence Carter Reasons, was born in Rural Puxico, Missouri on February 9, 1919 and passed away at the Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter, Missouri on November 2, 2006, at the age of 87 years, 8 months and 31 days.
Mrs. Hobbs had lived in the Puxico and Dudley, Missouri area all her life. She was a homemaker and a member of the Hobbs Chapel Church near Puxico.
On July 27, 1939, she was married to William J. Hobbs in Dudley, Missouri. He preceded her in death on March 5, 1998.
Surviving are two sons: James E. Hobbs of Poplar Bluff, Missouri and Gary Lee Hobbs of Dexter, Missouri, two grandchildren and three great grandchildren, three Step grandchildren and seven great step grandchildren. Other relatives and many friends also survive. She was preceded in death by four brothers: Frank, Charles, Eldon and Britton Reasons, two sisters: Myrtle Hobbs and Beulah Campbell.
Friends may call after 5:00 PM on Sunday, November 5, 2006, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held on Monday November 6, 2006, at 1:00 PM at the Hobbs Chapel Church near Puxico, Missouri with Rev. Vernon Kneir of Poplar Bluff, Missouri officiating.
Interment will be in the Hobbs Chapel Cemetery near Puxico, Missouri with Watkins and Sons Funeral Home of Puxico, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
