Audie Maze

Audie F. Maze, son of the late Ira Franklin and Hester Ramsey Maze, was born on June 17, 1930, in Goreville, Illinois and passed away in Dexter, Missouri on October 18, 2012, at the age of 82 years 4 months and 1 day. He had lived in Bloomfield for the last 20 years. He attended the Second General Baptist Church in Dexter. He worked in construction before retirement. Mr. Maze had also served in the United States Army. He was married to Juanita L. Moreland on February 11, 1955 in Elgin, Illinois. She preceded him in death on April 1,1998. Mr. Maze is survived by his, two sons, Curtis C. Maze of Bloomfield, Missouri, Gary Maze of Hampshire, Illinois; two brothers, Harold Maze and Bill Maze, both of Illinois; two sisters, Ruby Durham and Barbara Sigafus, both of Illinois; seven grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren. Many other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Deborah K. Maze; one granddaughter, Ginny Maze; three brothers, Carlyle Maze, Evert Maze, and Kenneth Maze; and one sister, Geneva Marton. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 22, 2012, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Watkins and Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 22, 2012, at the Watkins and Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri, with Rev. of Dexter, Missouri. Interment will follow in the Bloomfield Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
