Arlene Taylor of Poplar Bluff, daughter of the late Earnest Morgan, Sr. and Alma Robinson Morgan, was born in Puxico, Missouri on June 30, 1934, and passed away at the Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis on September 13, 2019, at the age of 85 years, 2 months and 14 days.
She had lived in the Broseley, Qulin and Poplar Bluff areas for many years except when she moved to St. Charles, Illinois and worked at Richardson Electronics. She was a member of the Full Gospel Church in Broseley.
On June 30, 1952, she married Enoch Taylor in Piggott, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on February 28, 2014.
Surviving are one brother, Larry Morgan of Florida; one sister, Barbara Bailey of Wisconsin; many nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Earnest Morgan, Jr, Robert Morgan, Densil Morgan and Ray Morgan; one sister, Velva Bright.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2019, after 9:00 a.m. at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter until time of services at 10:00 a.m.
Interment will follow in the Mole Hill Cemetery in Broseley, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
