Aretta Tucker Aretta Tucker, daughter of the late Will Sylvester and Ada Killbreth Moore, was born in Bessville, Missouri on February 14, 1918, and passed away at the Golden Living Center in Dexter, Missouri on August 14, 2009, at the age of 91 years and 6 months. Mrs. Tucker had grown up in Bessville and moved to Dexter with her husband where she has lived for many years. She was a member of the Apostolic Pentecostal Church in Dexter, Missouri. On June 3, 1939, she was married to John William Tucker in Bloomfield, Missouri. He preceded her in death on February 4, 1986. Surviving are one son, Donald Tucker of Dexter, Missouri; one daughter, June Coffer of Dexter, Missouri; 6 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 17 great great grandchildren; 10 great great great grandchildren; one sister, Virginia Taylor of Dexter, Missouri. Other relatives and friends also survives. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Carl, Marvin and Joseph Moore and one son who died in infancy John Dale Tucker. Friends may call on Tuesday, August 18, 2009, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2009, at 10:00 AM at Apostolic Pentecostal Church in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. Jimmy Kirby of Dexter, Missouri officiating. Interment will be in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
