Annie Pruett

Annie E. Pruett, of Bloomfield, daughter of the late Ernest and Addie Mason Gromer, was born in Marquand, Missouri on August 25, 1929, and passed away at her home in Bloomfield on October 24, 2014, at the age of 85 years, 1 month and 29 days. On March 6, 1954, she was married to Loran Pruett in Holly Springs, Mississippi. Surviving are her husband, Loran Pruett of Bloomfield; three sons, Brian Pruett of Bloomfield, Clay Pruett of Poplar Bluff, Justin Pruett of Circle City; one daughter, Joy Chappell of Bloomfield; eleven grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; three brothers, Cecil Gromer of Columbia, Missouri, Charles Gromer of Cape Girardeau, Alan Gromer of St. Louis, Missouri; one sister, Mary Gromer of Dexter. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by two great grandchildren, Dakota Rae Gross and J. T. Wilson; two sisters, Dorothy Edwards and Virgie Allen; three brothers, Howard, Alva D. and Harold Gromer. Friends may visit on Monday, October 27, 2014, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Bloomfield Assembly of God Church in Bloomfield, Missouri. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 28, 2014, at 10:00 am at the Assembly of God Church in Bloomfield, Missouri with Rev. Dwight Hensley of Bloomfield officiating. Interment with be in the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home of Bloomfield in charge of arrangements.
