Annice O. Hisaw, the daughter of the late Joe and Tennie Pasley Hooks, was born in Essex, Missouri on April 15, 1922, and passed away at the Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter, Missouri on June 21, 2008, at the age of 86 years, 2 months and 6 days.
Mrs. Hisaw had lived Essex and Dexter, Missouri all her life. She attended the Assembly of God Church in Dexter, Missouri.
On May 8, 1944, she was married to Hollie Lawrence Hisaw in Piggott, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on September 24, 1997.
Surviving are one daughter, Verna O'Neal of Campbell, Missouri; one daughter-in-law, Sue Hisaw of Dexter, Missouri; three grandchildren, Mike Hisaw of Bossier City, Louisiana, Lisa Hisaw of San Francisco, California, Chris Wilkerson of Dexter, Missouri; three great grandchildren, Jacob, Mary-Kate, and John Parker Hisaw all of Bossier City, Louisiana; one brother, Joe Hooks of Matthews, Missouri. Other relatives and many friends also survive. She was preceded in death by two sons, Vick and Larrry Hisaw, one granddaughter, Susan Hisaw, one brother, Vernon Hooks, and two sisters, Vivian Hooks and Imogene Riefer.
Friends may call after 10:00 AM on Wednesday June 25, 2008, at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter Missouri.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2008, at 11:00 AM at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. James Gore of Ellisinore, Missouri officiating.
Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
