Annetta Varble Annetta Varble, the daughter of the late Ernest and Nora Pike Williams, was born in Uniontown, Kentucky on September 28, 1907, and passed away at the Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter, Missouri on June 13, 2005, at the age of 97 years, 8 months and 16 days. Mrs. Varble had lived in Leora, Missouri community most of her life. She and her husband had owned and operated a store in Leora. She was a member of the Leora Missionary Baptist Church and the Puxico Eastern Star. On November 3, 1924, she was married to Ralph Varble in Stoddard County. He preceded her in death on July 5, 1982. Surviving are one son, Paul D. Varble of Arnold, Missouri; one daughter, Mary Lou Koetting of Bloomfield, Missouri; eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one sister, Eleanor Bridwell of Sikeston, Missouri. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one son, Tony Varble; three brothers, Andrew, Dupree, & Romuald Williams; and three sisters, Mary Bell Clippard, Gertrude Pixley, and Augusta Williams. Friends may call from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 16, 2005 at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2005, at 7:00 P.M. in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. Vaughn Wright of Dexter, Missouri officiating. Interment will be on Friday, June 17, 2005, at 10:00 A.M. in the Dexter Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
