Anna O'Neal

Anna Lois O'Neal, daughter of the late Fred Luke and Vera Mae Stacey Jones, was born in Columbus, Kentucky on February 20, 1922, and passed away at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on October 16, 2007, at the age of 85 years, 7 months and 26 days. Mrs. O'Neal had lived in the Bloomfield area most of her life and was a member of the First General Baptist Church in Bloomfield, Missouri. On December 31, 1947, she was married to Raymond Curtis O'Neal in Piggott, Arkanasa. Surviving are her husband, Raymond Curtis O'Neal of Bloomfield, Missouri, one son and daughter in law, Doug & Cyndi O'Neal of Bloomfield, Missouri; two grandchildren, Curtis and Emily O'Neal both of Bloomfield, Missouri; one brother, Franklin D. Jones of Alabama; and one sister, Dorothy Wilson of Leora, Missouri. Other relatives and many friends also survive. She was preceded in death by five brothers, Robert, Edwin, G. H., Ollie and Junior Jones. Friends may call on Thursday October 18, 2007, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Funeral services will be held on Friday October 19, 2007, at 10:00 AM at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. Dan Sitz of Bloomfield, Missouri officiating. Interment will be in the Dexter Cemetery in Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
