Anna Flippin

Anna Mae Flippin, daughter of the late Charley and Damie Whitehead Walker, was born in Ripley County, Missouri on March 23, 1929, and passed away at the St. Luke's Hospital in Chesterfield, Missouri on November 13, 2010, at the age of 81 years, 7 months and 21 days. She had lived in Dudley, Missouri before moving to Chesterfield, Missouri in 2005. She was of the Baptist Faith. On September 30, 1945, she was married to Hugh Flippin in Dudley, Missouri. He preceded her in death on May 25, 2010. Surviving are one son, Tom Flippin of Bloomfield, Missouri; one daughter, Shirley Bohman of Chesterfield, Missouri; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and one brother, Charles Walker of Dexter, Missouri. Other relatives and friends survive. She was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters, Edith Downey, Bill Walker, Norman Walker, Nora Keesee, Lela Walker, Lillie Boyle, Alvie Walker and two in infancy, Esther & Chester Walker. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 17, 2010, after 10:00 AM at Watkins & Sons Funeral Service in Dexter, Missouri. Services will be held Wednesday, November 17, 2010, at 2:00 PM in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. Dwight Hensley of Bloomfield, Missouri officiating. Interment will be in the Bethany Cemetery near Campbell, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
